Heartland Multiple Listing Service
The Heartland Association of Realtors owns and manages the Heartland Multiple Listing Service. The listing services uses the platform of Matrix, offering a full suite of productivity and marketing tools. Members can access Florida Realtor’s MLS Advantage with listings throughout the entire state of Florida, with a single sign-on through your Matrix home page. This way, you never have to wonder what is selling in the next county or across the state. Other included benefits are Property Panorama virtual tours and the IMAPP research tool. Your HAR Matrix is a mobile-friendly site, with the added choice of using the mobile app, so it's easy to access from wherever you may be.
ShowingTime Showing System with HMLS
Heartland Multiple Listing Service has partnered with ShowingTime centralized showing system with the added component of a Front Desk module for brokerage offices. ShowingTime is the technology provider for 950,000 real estate professionals. The program is automatically integrated with your listings and very customizable, so you can custom-tailor it to suit your needs! Members can customize available showing times and block out dates, while feedback forms can be individual per property or per agent and many other choices.
National Association of Realtors (NAR) Member Benefits Program
NAR offers an extensive list of benefits to members. Benefits include options in technology software, personal and business insurance, electronics, office supplies and courier services, travel and automotive, educational and marketing options. Publications include monthly and quarterly magazines and more.
Florida Realtors Member Benefits
Florida REALTORS® has a robust offering of 50 member benefits. Some of the major benefits include the Tech Support line that offers tech support on any device seven days a week, Legal Hotline, Florida contracts software, discounts for services you need, including Office Depot, Tax Bot, hotels, rental cars, UPS shipping services and more. There are also many educational courses and free resources plus magazines, videos and more.
Heartland Realtors – Market Store
The office of Heartland Association of Realtors stocks many signs, riders and other real estate specific items that you will find helpful in your business. Skip the shipping and go to the board office for sign riders, open house signs, lock boxes and more.
Heartland Association of Realtors offers regular educational classes to members. Classes have a variety of topics and prices range from free informational classes to cost per class. The association endeavors to keep educational opportunities at the lowest price possible for members. Contact the board office or the Education Committee to learn more or make requests.
REALTOR® See This House and Commercial Networking
The Heartland Association organizes two residential caravans per month, focusing on different areas of our service address. Realtors on the caravan complete feedback for the listing agents.
The Commercial Committee organizes networking lunches every third and fourth month of each quarter. The networking lunch has been described as a “caravan without visiting each property.”
Committees and Leadership
The Heartland Association of Realtors has many opportunities for members to become involved and row in their expertise as professionals. We are a volunteer organization that values and encourages member participation. There are a variety of committees including: Community Outreach & Benevolence, MLS, Commercial, Property Management, Education, RPAC, Professional Standards, Awards, Banquet and more.
The association has a board of officers and directors consisting of eight directors and seven officers. The board is comprised of volunteer REALTOR® members, voted in by the association’s REALTOR® members.

Monthly Networking Events
The monthly general membership lunch is a great opportunity to network with other agents and affiliates. You get the added benefit of hearing a special speaker each month on a topic of interest to our profession.
Once per year, the networking lunch is replaced with an Affiliate Fair. The Affiliates showcase the services and products, decorate booths (for a contest) and provide lunch options to the members. This is always a good time to meet new affiliates or learn more about their services.
December’s networking event is a Holiday Open House sponsored by the board office – a great lunch with Christmas décor and opportunity to network with REALTOR® members and Affiliate members.
Business Affiliate Member Benefits
Affiliate members are invited to our monthly general membership lunch where they can network with REALTOR® members. This is the best way to engage the largest number of members at one time.
Education and Sponsorship Opportunities
The association holds a variety of events including educational courses, free seminars and general membership luncheons throughout the year plus the annual Awards Banquet. Affiliates have the opportunity to sponsor some of these events. Usually, an Affiliate Member provides breakfast snacks, lunch, or refreshments and will speak about their company to the attendees for a few minutes before the start of the event. This is a great way to increase your business and visibility in the real estate community.
Affiliate Fair Exhibitor
The annual Affiliate Fair is one of the highest attended networking events of the year, and it's one you will want to be at! Our Affiliate Members are invited to set up a table with their company information along with a lunch food or dessert item. Pick a theme for your table – a team of judges votes a winner. Some Affiliates will have games or drawings. Members love to mingle, eat and enjoy the interaction with our Affiliate Members.
